TOOLS

Crimps, cord, ring, and lobster

MATERIALS

Crimped Ring

  1. Measure enough cord for your bead project. Allow about 4 inches extra to crimp the ends and finish the project

  2. Place a crimp and a ring onto the cord. Snug the loop to the ring but don’t pull the loop too tight. A little space lets the ring move freely.

  3. String the beads on the cord and adjust your pattern to the correct length.

  4. Place a crimp and lobster onto the end of the cord. Feed the cord back through the crimp and the last few beads. Pull the loose end of the cord to remove the slack but don’t make the loop too tight.

  5. “Smush” the crimp with the pliers. Tug it to test that the crimp is secure.

  6. Use the cutter to trim the loose end of the wire between the beads. Enjoy!
